WHAT WILL MATT BE DOING AT MANCHESTER EATS!
Get ready for a fllavour filled cooking demonstration where Matt will be sharing his tips & tricks on some of his most popular dishes. There will also be a Q&A for the foodie nerds!
“ I’m really looking forward to getting to Manchester and to spend a day at the festival in Heaton Park, it’s a real celebration of this amazing cities vibrant food and drink scene. Craft beers, great food, cooking demos and hopefully some good weather….how else would you want to spend a weekend?”
1. What dish would you choose for your last meal?
I’d have a huge spread of all my favourite Chinese food….pork belly and preserved vegetables hot pot, crisp smoked chicken, cold jellyfish in black vinegar, toffee & sesame aubergines, Beijing duck, steamed scallops in ginger and anything else you can throw at me!
2. Pick 4 guests for your dream dinner party?
Comedian Dave Allan, Peter cook, Elizabeth David…and the now sadly departed Anthony Bourdain.
3. Who’s your food hero?
Too many to choose from but I would have to hold my old mentor Alastair Little up as one of the unsung greats.
